Mofu Japanese Bakery — Excited to Try My First Delicious Japanese Cake Can

Mofu is a Japanese bakery that offers authentic Japanese baked goods (buns, cakes, sandwiches, canned cakes, and many more) located in Markham, Ontario, specifically in J-Town (next to bakery Nakamura).

Over the weekend, my sister surprised me by bringing me one of Mofu's canned cakes and I am beyond excited to try this! I am super excited because the last time my sister and I visited Mofu, unfortunately, the bakery did not offer their special Japanese canned cakes (we went on a Monday) so I am glad I can finally taste one of their baked goods. 

Overall, the packaging of the canned cakes is super cute and interesting! The top of the can is covered with a metal sheet-like lid where you can easily rip the cover off. The product comes with a very long white spoon (of course xD) so you can spoon the different layers when eating the cake. The flavor I got, in this case, was the oreo one; other flavors include matcha, strawberry shortcake, and strawberry custard. 

When I ate this cake, I thought it was very delicious! I opened the canned cake and was greeted by a whole oreo right on top. :) The cake was very light and fluffy and the custard and mousse were very creamy and silky like milk. Overall, the cake and the cream were not too sweet and there was a good balance between the different layers. Lastly, I love the overall concept and presentation.
